Eagle Creek Systems Go 60L Duffel Pack

I had the opportunity to review a very cool larger 60L pack by Eagle Creek. It’s the Systems Go 60L Duffel Pack which is really versatile because you can use it as a backpack or a duffel bag by just rearranging the shoulder straps. The Systems Go line also allows you to use the “cube” Pack-It System which helps organize all of your belongings into separate compartments.

The Pack-It Specter Cubes are essentially zippered bags that stack in an orderly fashion inside the main compartment of the duffel pack. You can get them in several colors and sizes according to your needs. I found that being a prepper these types of organizational bags work well for separating my electronic gear, fire starting gear, clothing and survival foods. Being organized and being able to find your gear quickly when you need it is essential. This particular bag will stack 5 Pack-It Cubes.

The 60L pack comes with a fully padded carry system. As mentioned earlier the shoulder straps detach and can be combined to form a single crossbody strap. The pack also has several lash point loops for solar panels or other packs and gear. The hip belt I found to be amazing at distributing the weight to my hips. It really works well. The padded back has moisture-wicking air mesh to help keep your back mostly dry.

The top of the bag features a zippered compartment with a zippered mesh area for your keys, wallet and other small, quick access belongings. The side of the bag also features a compartment for storing items you need to get to quickly. There’s also a bottom zippered compartment for storing even more gear. The main compartment has a built-in sleeve to fit most 15″ laptops. The bag is water resistant helping you keep your gear dry. The bag also comes with front, bottom and side compression straps which helps you pack on more gear or squeeze down the gear for easier carrying.
