Sarma Custom Made Torba-Mini EDC Pack
Thanks to Sarma Custom Made I was able to review their EDC bag – the Torba-Mini. We all need a small EDC (every day carry) pack to throw in our cars with vital essentials for basic survival. It may be first aid kits, self defense mechanisms, water filters and food. Whatever the contents, this EDC pack will handle it. I’ll start with that it’s custom made by hand. Every part of the bag is made with quality materials starting with the Cordura fabric.
Nothing says sturdy like Cordura. I have multiple bags made from this stuff and it’s invincible. It can take a lot of punishment. The buckles are all duraflex, the same that you would see on military bags. The Torba-Mini doesn’t skimp on zippers either – they are equipped with high quality YKK zippers, so you can really cram this pack full of gear.
The cool thing about the Torba-Mini besides it’s capacity and quality is that it can be worn in three different configurations or carried with its handle like a bag. It can be worn as a shoulder bag, a fanny pack style bag or as a chest pack (it comes with extra gear to support wearing it on your chest). So whatever your need, you are going to be comfortable wearing this pack.
The pack has two main storage compartments both accessed from the top of the pack. The front of the pack also has two small zippered compartments above and below the velcro patch. The large front compartment has several (and I really mean several) pouches and compartments for organizing your smaller gear items. It also has a transparent zippered lining for items that you need to be able to see and access quickly. There are two small zippered pouches and a key attachment that can be removed as needed.
The bag and straps also have molle webbing so you can outfit the bag with additional gear if needed. As for the larger compartment, this is a good place for self defense mechanisms. It also has a padded back with a velcro attachment for velcro holsters.
I am really impressed by the Sarma Custom Made Torba-Mini. I’ve never been a huge fan of EDC packs until I saw this one. It really does have a masculine feel to it and you can outfit it any way you want to fit your needs. I’d recommend it to anyone that needs a quick go-bag for survival essentials.
